Raghuram Rajan

Raghuram Rajan is an Indian economist who served as the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, and is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Bank for International Settlements. He was chief economist at the International Monetary Fund from 2003 to 2007, the youngest to occupy the position. He was a Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1991 to 2013, when he went on public service leave.
